Firms is headed by Mr. Krishnasamy, an Engineering graduate from M/S Intuition of Mechanical Engineering Mumbai.Testing and balancing has been our exclusive business for the past 6 years.We have also attained enormous experience doing all kinds of projects in and around India. We have a full-fledged setup comprising of experienced engineers, technicians, with all necessary instruments and tools to tackle any sort of HVAC Commissioning and TAB Activity.

Arostar have electrical panels manufacturing facilities at chennai, which use state-of-the-artmanufacturing equipment to ensure that the products have consistent quality and reliability. Arostar has business alliances with DANFOSS to offer superior products and solutions of HVAC drives. Arostar manufactured panel are tested in CPRI Lab.

Arostar started manufacturing wide range of HVAC electrical panels from 2008.Arostar comprises of a team of professionals committed to achieve excellence in design and manufacturing of HVAC various electrical panels MCC, VFD, Starter and control panels. Arostar enterprises comprise well-qualified and experienced engineers in our manufacturing. We are having adequate machines, tools & tackles and testing equipment and manufacturing facility spread over 400 Sq m, The manufacturing facility includes modern imported machineries such as sheet cutting, punch, bending, welding, seven treatment tank process and powder coating plant.

Arostar is equipped with latest machineries and tools such as cutting, punching, shearing and bending machines, grinding equipment’s, etc. for fabrication of the panels. Shearing and bending is done with computer controlled machines, to achieve the optimum accuracy. Each and every fabricated piece is verified against detailed fabrication drawing at every stage before releasing for the next operation. When final product is fabricated, it has to again undergo for detailed quality verification against customer approved drawing before releasing for painting /next operation.

Fabricated parts, after released by quality department, are properly cleaned for oil and rust with the help of liquid chemicals in different stages of preparation. This prepared piece is then powder coated inside the coating booth. It is then taken inside the curing oven for curing at high pre-stetted temperature as per paint manufacturer's recommendations. Painted part then checked for minimum paint thickness and adhesion by Quality Control engineer before releasing for next operation.

Arostar is having large assembly hall, has the flexibility to run several assembly line simultaneously. All the assembly lines are fully equipped with necessary tools, torque wrenches, jigs, fixtures, drilling machines and other necessary infrastructures. It’s multipurpose machine for bus bar cutting, punching and bending is of latest technology, to achieve the proper accuracy of the finished product. Each and every activity at every stage is verified by the Quality Inspector before releasing for next operation.

We have separate assembly line for wiring and assembling the control panels which is equipped with pneumatic tools. With proper combination of man, machine, design and tools, we are achieving very high quality control panels, to ensure precise operation of various machines, pumps, or any other kind of machines as required by the customer. All wirings are verified and tested by the Quality Inspection against approved design and logic.


HVAC Commissioning

The commissioning process begins with a thorough check of the HVAC equipment after it has been installed. A thorough check involves verifying the correct equipment and material has been installed and installed in the proper location. Then, we verify that installation meets construction details and manufacturer’s requirements. A custom checklist along with documentation of the installed equipment must be created. After verifying the correct equipment and material has been installed, witnessing equipment operation is the next step. It is necessary to verify and document proper operation which includes the startup, shut down, and sequence of operation. Noting any issues of improper sequence of operations or start and shut down issues must be reported to the necessary contractors immediately. After the equipment has been verified to operate properly, the HVAC equipment can be tested, adjusted, and balanced (TAB).

Air Balancing

In its simplest form, air balancing is the process of testing and adjusting your air conditioning system to deliver the right amount of air to each room in your home. The actual air balancing process includes a number of related tests that determine the performance of your air conditioning and heating system.

Hydranic Balancing
In hydrology, a water balance equation can be used to describe the flow of water in and out of HVAC system. A system can be one of several hydrological domains, such as Pump, Chiller, AHU’s.
IAQ Test

Indoor air quality (IAQ) is a term which refers to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, especially as it relates to the health and comfort of building occupants. IAQ can be affected by gases (including carbon monoxide, radon, volatile organic compounds),particulates, microbial contaminants (mold, bacteria), or any mass or energy stressor that can induce adverse health conditions. Source control, filtration and the use of ventilation to dilute contaminants are the primary methods for improving indoor air quality in most buildings. Residential units can further improve indoor air quality by routine cleaning of carpets and area rugs. EPA has guidelines for frequency of cleaning based on traffic, number of household members, pets, children and smokers. Carpets and rugs act like an air filter and must be cleaned. Determination of IAQ involves the collection of air samples, monitoring human exposure to pollutants, collection of samples on building surfaces, and computer modeling of air flow inside buildings. IAQ is part of indoor environmental quality (IEQ), which includes IAQ as well as other physical and psychological aspects of life indoors

Duct Pressure Test

A duct leakage tester is a diagnostic tool designed to measure the airtightness of forced air heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) ductwork. A duct leakage tester consists of a calibrated fan for measuring an air flow rate and a pressure sensing device to measure the pressure created by the fan flow. The combination of pressure and fan flow measurements are used to determine the ductwork airtightness. The airtightness of ductwork is useful knowledge when trying to improve energy conservation.
